another tale of lembeck
when i was cleaning out
my diary
of the time he tried
to lick an iguana
out in the desert
on some mystical trip
to connect with
his sacred animal
of course we all laughed
and threw change at him
for the jukebox
when he told us
of his adventure
but he was a
good hearted soul
and took it with a grain
as he always did
understanding that we
were merely an audience
and not to be taken seriously
