Full moon last night;
I thought of you and iced tea.

Decades ago, parked on a dirt road,
we watched full moons rise
from prairie ink.

I asked if they affected you.
All you said was,
"Like an ice cube."

Every twenty eight days,
I thirst for iced tea...

and remember you.
