while the lingering looks

dither and wither alternately

accessible with an edge

as they say in the business

of the flytrap

the creeping locks seal tight

the barge canal

and commerce is stilled

save for its ups or downs

there's the wood and its howlets

to traverse

all along the glade

slinks the barge by moonlight
